Many publishing tools push every author toward the same voice. Field Notes starts with the content instead: brief thoughts, long essays, work logs, and links should each keep their own rhythm.
A system, not a template
I defined foundational rules for typography, space, color, and content blocks while leaving room for variation. Markdown keeps every piece portable and version-controlled.
A brand is not a fixed look. It is a way to make consistently good decisions.
The system supports six formats and doubled publishing frequency without adding editorial overhead.
